I need to invoke the dfhmirs program and from their i need to access the commarea and invoke my CICS program.
What are the settings that need to be done for this interface.
For eg:
I have a java client that uses the ECIrequest and calls the DFHMIRS program with commarea input.
When i tried to invoke my CICS program thru DFHMIRS
I get transaction id error and CICS message says PGMIDERR.
Any one please give your thoughts on this issue.
Thanks!

Why is your client linking to dfhmirs, when your CICS program is the target?
Can't the client ECI link to your program ? |

My first guess is that what DFHMIRS sees as the tranid/programid is not correct.... |

client should be eci link to target commarea program, which then runs under control of the CSMI (dfhmirs) transaction.
is that what ramco_sita is doing? |

Hi Everyone
We have resolved this issue. The problem we had is the Mirror trans id did not have the proper security to run from a remote applications. Once we gave the Racf access it started working.
Thanks for all your help |
