Hi Forum,
What can we do to highlight a field in program?. Highlight in the sence say the field should have red background and white letter font. I should also make it normal text in the same program. i tried moving REVERSE to map field with H say field1H in map ( while creating map) it is working fine ., when it comes to program i cannot do it.I have to change it normal and again to Highlight field depending on the logic so i have to use it in program only.. Any resolution expecting express fast..
Additional info: Tool used in designing map is BMS TS

1. Define the MAPSET with DSATTS option.

2. Read this link for Setting the display characteristics

Hi
Thanks for the info. The problem for me is i am not using any macros to design the maps. I am using a tool called BMS TS.
I also tried by moving 3 to field name suffixed by H . Can you add any thing do this. What happens if we move 3 to FieldH???

3 (x'f3') is a not valid 3270 attribute, not sure about extended attributes (color) Could you explain a little better.

x'f8' is askip,brt,fset attribute
x'c8' is unprot,brt,fset attribute

Is this a BMS map with color attributes ?

give us a sampling of your map dsect and maybe an example of the
statement you are using to move highlight attribute.
