Delete some old records from a file on the basis of the date

I want to delete some old records from a file on the basis of the date present in each record and i want to do this by fetching current date from the system and then getting the processing date by deleting some months depending upon my requirement and then comparing this date(current date - some month date) with the date in the records and then proceeding according to the situation.

Check the Only include records with today's date Smart DFSORT Trick at

If still unresolved, then show the sample set of i/p's and expected o/p's. Clearly showing the FORMAT of the date.

Actually, the "Include records using relative dates" Smart DFSORT Trick would probably be more relevant.
