I don't understand what you're asking for.

What "required topic"? What are you looking for? Which book are you looking for it in? What "search" are you doing that "doesn't work there" (wherever "there" is)?

Please be more specific about what you're trying to do and how you're trying to do it.

I am asking for some help in searching the required ( that is any topic, say OUTREC ) in online IBM manual ( publibz.boulder.ibm.com ). Whenever I make search for any topic say OUTREC, I dont get it.

So can any body tell me how do you locate the required ( say OUTREC ) in the online IBM manual??

Thanks in advance,

Hello "programmer" mainframe_techie,

Have you looked at the DFSORT/ICETOOL forum and noticed all the "Stickys" that among them point to DFSORT/ICETOOL Reference Material that point to DFSORT Documentation which, in turn, points to BookManager files for z/OS DFSORT Library (April, 2006)?

[delete]I can't think of anything to put in between these tags that would be acceptable[/delete]

Bill

mainframe_techie,

Are you asking how to do a search in the IBM pubs in general? If so, why did you post that to the DFSORT/ICETOOL Forum?

If you are asking specifically about searching the DFSORT books, then you can find them as Bill suggests, open either the pdf or Bookmanager file of your choice and use the search capability provided.

Frank/Bill,

Yes, I wanted to know how do we search in IBM pubs as such.
I posted in DFSORT forum as we were reffering to the links in the above topic.

My apologies if there is any confusion because of this. But any answer to my question??
