Hi,

I have a VSAM (ksds) on which an alternate index (therefore the base cluster has not been defined as RESUSE) has been defined. This file needs to be updated on a monthly basis with new data. Can this be done without deleteing the cluster? what would be the best way to do this.

TIA!PAV

I doubt it, and with a monthly cycle, why worry?
Just rebuild it.......
