Why do you think that it matters what connection/emulator the user has?

Dhans,

Its shop specific. Even in my shop, WHOIS throws the following -

Code:
IKJ56500I COMMAND WHOIS NOT FOUND
***

It doesn't matter whether you use emulator or IBM's PCOM, if your shop supports it.

Is there any settings required to be done for displaying full name in mainfrmaes.

But i remember command is

TSO WHOIS OFULMD should displays full name XXXXXXXXXX in RUMBA.

now we replayed IBM's PCOM....

But trying to give same command TSO WHOIS OFULMD....

Getting

COMMAND WHOIS NOT FOUND

Dhans.

Hello,

Rumba should have nothing to do with a TSO "COMMAND NOT FOUND" error. Rumba, Chamelion, PCOM, GTSD Ivory, etc are all versions of 3270 emulation (you don't have a physical 3270 terminal, your desktop emulates a 3270).

Either WHOIS is not available in your system or your profile does not include the necessary library. If you talk with your system support people, they can tell you if WHOIS is supported on your system or possibly what other command you might use to get the info you want.

Hi,

Try ' TSO WHOISID XXXXX'

where XXXXX is either User-id OR Name of User-Id Owner.

Hello yogeshwar_ade and welcome to the forums,

Quote:
Try ' TSO WHOISID XXXXX'
is site-specific and will be on only a few of the systems.

Thank you for making the suggestion icon_smile.gif

Logeswaran,

Please note that these are site specific commands (as said previously). Moreover the original post is more than two months old.

Hi,

Use the command 'TSO LU'

It tells us the racf profile of the user including his name.

Thanks,
