Hello,
If the job is to run nightly at 10pm, it is a scheduled job.
Is there some business reason to not use your scheduling software? |

If you don't have scheduling software, and YOU DO have CICS , then
write a CICS process to start a transaction at 10pm that can submit JOB. |

CICS method would be automatically, but then CICS would be a scheduler and that is against the requested requirements..... |

IN that case, I would go with an earlier post,
(set your clock and manually submit yourself)
OR
have your computer operator to manually submit at 10:00pm |
