is there any sql code for handling exception occured during selecting a row that is not present

Yes,
The SQLCODE = +100 denotes requested row not found

+100 ROW NOT FOUND FOR FETCH, UPDATE OR DELETE, OR THE RESULT OF A QUERY IS AN EMPTY TABLE
