the message class is defined for that.

for ex.
you might have used route to terminal
sysout=*. i.e message class in your job step.
if you want to route printer sysout=A,
these are all environment dependent. you can get the defined list from your sysadmin.

It depends on the value specified in the MSGCLASS paramter of your JCl's job card....

Hello,

If you talk with the scheduling or system support people, they will be able to tell you how the classes are defined for your system.
