1) What does SUBSYS parameter do in JCL?

2) How it is more advanced than AMP parameter.

3) How to calculate the CPU processing time for a job?(without giving time parameter)

Hello,

Use the SUBSYS parameter to request a subsystem to process this data set and, optionally, to specify parameters defined by the subsystem.

Use the AMP parameter to complete information in an access method control block (ACB) for a VSAM data set. The ACB is a control block for entry-sequenced, key-sequenced, and relative record data sets.
AMP is supported only for VSAM data sets.

Why would you think one is "more advanced" than the other?

You cannot calculate the cpu time for a job that is about to run. You can record the time taken and if it is run many, many times, you may be able to reasonably estimate the time needed, but there is no calculation.
