Hi all,
i am working on store procedure i got following error while running the job
SQLCODE: -981
SQLERRMC => 00C12219
i am using a store procedure(SR2 program) to call other program(SPS program),
if anyone has worked on it, can help me out by passing me the sample program of both called and calling program

-981 THE SQL STATEMENT FAILED BECAUSE THE RRSAF CONNECTION IS NOT IN A STATE THAT ALLOWS SQL OPERATIONS, REASON reason-code.
Explanation: The application attempted to execute an SQL operation but
the RRSAF connection was not in a state that allows the processing of SQL
statements.
System Action: The statement cannot be executed.
Programmer Response: See reason-code in "Section 4. DB2 Codes" in
topic 4.0 for an explanation of the problem. Correct the error in the
application, REBIND, and run the application again.

hi ,
the above stated reply from you can be found after giving QW -981
if u have worked on it then pls forward me sample job, called program ,calling program for store procedure, it not an easy job to run store procedure on mainframe

Hi,
Even I'm getting the same error when I've called a stored Proc and executing the 1st SQL query within it.
Can anyone tell me how to rectify this ? |

Hi,
Even I got the same error when I executed a COBOL-DB2 program by IKJEFT01 and a subroutine called in it attempted to insert a row in a table.
Can anybody tell me what needs to be done in this case? |
