Hi,

1. I have a file that is Comma delimited and i want to use this file to load the data. How should be my load card or where can i mention that the file is comma delimited.

2. I have some characters in the file 'yyyy' and when it sees those characters it should insert nulls in that particular coulmn so how can i say this in the load card or where can i mention that when u see yyyy insert nulls.

Thanks

Hello,

If you look in the db2 documentation that is linked to via "Manuals" at the top of the page, you can find the syntax to specify a delimiter (i believe it is COLDEL ',' and goes in the LOAD control statement).

I am not sure that you can replace yyyy with nulls as part of the load. The same manual will have that information if it is possible.

You could pass the load file replacing the yyyy value(s) with whatever you wanted.
