Want to sort the data using SORT JCL

I want to sort the data using SORT jcl. How will I do this

1. Show how the i/p looks like, and the expected o/p
2. Specify based on what position you want to sort the data.
3. RECFM and LRECL of the i/p and o/p files?

To delete duplicate records from an input file, Use SUM FIELDS=NONE.

Since you're not familiar with DFSORT and DFSORT's ICETOOL, I'd suggest reading through "z/OS DFSORT: Getting Started". It's an excellent tutorial, with lots of examples, that will show you how to use DFSORT, DFSORT's ICETOOL and DFSORT Symbols.
