How do we find out which of the below mentioned Mainframe COBOL compilers are we using in our System.
I tried searching in Program listing but couldnot find out.
Is there any command or something else to find it out ?
ALso I guess COBOL-85 is also a compiler which is not included in below list.PLease correct me if I am wrong ? |

Hi,
When you compile the program, you can see which compiler you are using in the COB3.SYSPRINT listing.
For example, in my shop it displays as:
IBM Enterprise COBOL for z/OS and OS/390 3.1.0
Thanks and Regards,

I think COBOL-85 is one COBOL standard, not an actual compiler. |

cobol-85 is not a complier. it is a version developed and released in the year 1985. similarly 9x is a combol version ie yet to come with lots of userfriendly features. |
