VSAM file transfer from one region to another

Can u send me jcl which tranfers vsam file from QA region to DEV region

Hello,

To transfer your vsam file(s) you can REPRO them to flat files, DEFINE the "new" files in the target environment, and reload the data.

All of the basic jcl most likely already exists on your system.

You will need to talk with someone at your location to find out what the proper naming conventions should be - no one here can tell you what the requierments are for your system as it is completely site specific.

You can also use tools like NDM to do that. It can transfer from one region to another region.
