In production support usually we ask the IBM peoples to force complete the certain jobs by giving BPC request. Whether any can tell me what they will do to force complete the job. If the job is force completed, whether it will affects it dependent job |

Ravi,
There is no such thing called force complete. Operators mark the job status as completed in the scheduling tool.
Once the job is marked as completed, dependent jobs (if any) kicks off automatically.
People please correct if had provided wrong info above. |

Hello,
Some scheduling software does support "force complete".
This is a mechanism for telling the system a particular job has completed even though it may not.
As mentioned previously, the schedule then continues. |
