How to check the DB2 logs

Hi,

In production few records are facing -911 issue so that i have noticed that which DB2 tables are facing this problem. To anlyze this i have to verify the DB2 logs..!!!

why check the the logs when db2 provides You, by simpler means, the needed info ??

Needed if is , to find the which program is hold (using ) that table in that time. (This is my dbout not sure this is possible or not)

if You checked all Your posts You would find the answers to your needs...
I answered Your other post with the solution to Your problem;

activating the DB2 tracing, at least for deadlocks, is common practice at any decent DB2 installation

Dev's - you are on the right track. You need to find out how to view your DB2 logs. The logs contain valuable diagnostic info that cannot be be found anywhere else.

Your DB2 subsystem has a name. Let's pretend yours is called DB2P. Check to see if you can find a batch job that is currently running called DB2PMSTR. If you see this batch job then you have found the logs.

Your DBAs should be able to point you in the right direction.

DB2 master logs have everything, just look there.
