Hi,
Can anyone tell me the rules and restrictions in defining a jobname or is there a guide that i can follow to code a jobname.

Hello,
I'd suggest you have your project lead provide you with a proper jobcard that can be used for your work.
Most sites have standards and if not followed cause abends, nasty e-mails, or both. Keep in mind that usually, production jobcards are different than test jobs and often may not be submitted by the programmers/analysts.
Once you have been provided with a "good" jobcard, the manual SuperK mentioned will be able to explain any of the parameters that are not clear. |
