this is something asked in an interview.
You'll have a file with records in it.
Just by looking at this file how can we identify what kind of a VSAM file is it??? |

Hello,
What was meant by "just looking at the file"? That could mean several things. . . |

Hi,
I hope by viewing the name they are asking us to find out whether it's a VSAM file or not?? But it's possible if we have .index or .dat file like that ...
else just type LC in the command side and here you can get the assosiates where we can find it out ..

Hello,
Just looking at data in browse will usually not provide the file type. |
