Can you tell me how to disable the default PFKEYS in ISPF Panels?

By default PF1 will open help screen, I don't want that thing to happen how to do that?

Note that the O/P wants to DISABLE the keys. I don't think that's possible, or at least not easily accomplished.

What would you prefer when PF1 is pressed?

Are these the system panels or panels that you have created? If these are the system panels, what would be the benefit of dis-abling the standard PFKeys?

If these are site-specific panels, just treat them the same as the Enter key and do no special action.

You can turn them off, if you just don't want to see them. . .

Try 'KEYLIST OFF' from within your REXX while under ISPF.

Hi,
Thanks yaar.

In my rexx program before invoking panel I have given this "KEYLIST OFF" command. But still I am not getting desired result.

I want to disable PF1 KEY. I want to use this to display my own help screen.Same case for remaining keys also (PF2...).

I saw some where this KEYLIST OFF they are using in )PANEL section in panel itself. But I can't able to get clearly.

If you don't mind can you explain bit clearly about this.

Thank you.

Hello,

For clarification - you don't really want to disable the pfkeys, you want to customize them for panels that you create. Is this correct?

Yes,
Right now I want to use PF1 alone to show my customize help window.

But still I don't want PF2 and remaining all PF keys. Those keys should n't do anything.

It means few keys I wants to customize and few to Disable.

shameer!!
u can do one thing..
Type Keys on the command line. A panel lists all keys and their functionalists. Just modify( remove) as per your requirement. If can either assign different functionality or remove existing one.
