Hi,

I want to know how actually linking works? I know that it will take the object module which is created after the compilation and it will produce the load module.

But i dont know the actual processing. Like - when in Cobo- DB2 program, what is the need of these parameters

REPLACE
INCLUDE
ENTRY
NAME

and if i dont give the NAME parameter it will not link to the database.

Hello,

Because compile and link procedures vary from site to site, i'd suggest that you talk with your people who support db2 and/or the compile/link jcl.

They can explain in detail the choices made at your location.

Hi,

I Still need help in this regards, Some doc or some sort of information would be a great help. Asking from the persons who are handling this, would be a long and cumbersome process. So can anybody help?
