Hello,
I am confused by both Easytrieve and File-Aid being named.
If you use the file-aid menu, you will see file compare as an option - it is self-explanitory. There is also a compare function in tso/ispf - it too is self-explanitory.
If you would use Easytrieve you would have to design/code/test your own compare process.
If this is not what you are looking for, please let us know. |

Please clarify what exactly do you need? Is it a program (as eazytrieve is a programming langauge like COBOL) or JCL for executing Eazytreive program? |

If your request is for the Easytrieve reference (documentation), that is copyright material and may not be posted or linked to from our forums.
If your site is licensed for Easytrieve, all of the material is available for free from Computer Associates (CA).
I doubt that you want to write your own file compare logic in Easytrieve anyway. . . |

Hello,
Easytrieve is a Computer Associates (CA) product and the documentation is copyright material. We cannot post it or link to it from this forum.
If your site is licensed to use Easytrieve, you can download all of the material from the CA support site for free. |
