Hi,
Thanks for your help.I have used IDCAMS - LIST CAT itself.
//STEP20 EXEC PGM=IDCAMS
//*
//SYSOUT DD SYSOUT=*
//SYSPRINT DD SYSOUT=*
//SYSABOUT DD SYSOUT=*
//SYSDBOUT DD SYSOUT=*
//SYSUDUMP DD SYSOUT=*
//SYSIN DD *
LISTCAT LEVEL(XXXX) GENERATIONDATAGROUP
/*
This list all the the GDG bases that starts with XXXX.*
Thanks,
Alamelu |

When you said in your original post - all the bases in a system, dis you mean all GDG bases on that system / sysplex, or just those with a given HLQ ? |

You will need to edit the output, but will have a list of all GDG base definitions on whichever system/LPAR that you run this on. |
