Hi,
Is it possible to create/set a Parm variable using COBOL program and pass it to the next step of the JCL. I want to create/set a PARM variable in one step and use it in the other step. This PARM variable is used to carry the index of my table to the another step.
Thanks,
Bala |

Hello,
You can write the value into a file in the first step and read it as input for the second step. |

Hi Dick,
Thanks for your kind reply. I already know this way, but I want to know, is there any other way than using a file.
Thanks,
