Hello,
I suspect you mean "members" in a PDS. . .
The number of members depends on how many directory blocks are defined for the PDS. |

It depends on the memory size of the pds and the ps that you are going to store.
For example,if the size of thre pds is 10KB,then it can have 5 ps with 2kBsize each or 10 ps with 1kB each in size |

I'm sure that Dick is correct in saying members.
Yes, it depends on the number of directory blocks, and even that can vary depending on whether you have ISPF statistics off or on.
6 members with ISPF stats on, 8 with stats off. |
