hi all
i m reciieving the following message when a certain terminal tries to logon to a CICS region
DFHZC2467 E 05/09/2007 11:32:20 "region name" 01RN CSNE Invalid communications ID (CID) detected. VTAM RETURN CODE 1413 ((1)
Module name: DFHZLEX)
can someone help ? |

The x'14' in the VTAM RC leads me to believe that terminal is in a pending state of some sort. Have you displayed the terminal through the console?
Are these terminals IP (Telnet) , VTAM (SNA) connected ?

i think it's pending really because i have tried to log it on another CICS region and it worked successfully
it's IP session
which console do u mean ?? do u mean CiCS console through cemt ? if so then yes it was acquried but i can't logon to the CICS region although |

If it's working in another CICS region, then it is most likely not pending at the comm level. Can you copy/paste all ther pertinent messages out of MSGUSR here for that particular terminal? |
