Hi Raak,
What ananthakumar_e looking for is ?
He has 2 input files and 1 output file. He is comparing 2 input files and writing the unmatched records (excluding the matched records) into the output record.
Please give the solution. I am also looking for it. |

mkk157/ananthakumar_e,
By showing the example of input file and expected output files, you will get correct and fast solution. That is thr reason asking for the sample data.
More over there are a lot of posts with the same requirement. Please check before posting. If you won't find the correct solution, then post your question with all the details inclusing the foramat,Lrecl etc.. of the input files.
Thanks

This might help, but you will need to read the manuals to get the correct sysntax. The example in this thread show how to KEEP duplicate records, but the SELECT statement is well shown in the ICETOOL manual.
