hi,
i want to know the use of specifying tioapfx in dfhmsd field

i know that it will allocate 12 bytes but i cannot able to understand in depth

please explain in detail

See the tioapfx field is transparent to the user, actualy when it is set to "yes", the system attaches a 12 byte Filler, which is used by the system for some control information. hope that helps.

tioapfx---> terminal input output area prefix.
the use of this is ,,, suppose if we input data, then the inputted data
is separated with 12 byte fillers.
the reason for this is for faster acces of the data latter use.
