Comparing the first 10 columns of two Files

I have two files .I want to compare the first 10 columns of first file with the first 10 columns of second colums of the second file and so on.Help me in this..

You want to compare the columns and do what?

Please show an example of the records in each input file and what you expect for the output records.

What is the RECFM and LRECL of each input file?
