1. How can we find total number of records in a VSAM file using fileaid?

2. How can we do the cross reference (XREF) using fileaid if we have different record layouts for a file? Please explain the procedure in detail. If you can provide me screen shots, it would be more helpful

To know total number of records in VSAM you can use LISTCat and there is no need to go to File Aid.
