How to Stop a DB2 query while in the execution

I am running a query in QMF, and its taking long time, and getting millions of records. I want to stop the query. Please let me how to do it.

Hello,

Call your dbas and ask them to to get rid of the long-running transaction.

One of your keys should be coded as the ATTN key - try that - sometimes upper right.

Hello,

That might free the terminal, but there are times when the query continues to run without interruption and must be dealt with "from inside".

Most 3270 emulators have a "Settings" clickable. Beneath Settings is usually a Keyboard selection. If you click on Keyboard, you should be able to see which of your keys is mapped to the 3270 ATTN key.
