Hello,
Just re-reun the compile using the same jcl used to compile the program previously. |

Hi,
If you are Changing / Editing the COPYBOOK , the source programs needs to be compiled for the changes to take effect.
So recompile the program with the exact compiling options(i.e) B.4 if the program is non db2 program and B.6 if it s cobol DB2 program.
Thanks,
Diwakar

Please dont give site specific solutions, it may not work everywhere. |

hi agkshirsagar,
Thanks for your valuable feedback.
Just thought of sharing the options, which i am using right now.
May be you could have answered in different perspective, instead of wasting your time replying to my view, you could have suggested a way to Suresh to solve his problem.
Thanks,
Diwakar

Well, my vote goes to agkshirsagar. In my view he has made a valuable point that site specific responses are exactly that, site specific and as such do not apply to all sites.
How do you think that you might react to be told to use an option at your site, and that option does not exist ?
Once again, in my view, agkshirsagar's comment was both valid and constructive. And with your attitude, I will certainly think twice before answering any problems that you may post because I do not want to be moaned at for trying to be helpful ! |
