For every BMP JOB which is running it will be allocated a region. So you need to stop that region. For that you need to go to test system and follow steps.
1.pause /break the test system first.
2.type "/disp a" <enter>
Now you can see the following screen headings
REGID JOBNAME TYPE TRAN/STEP PROGRAM STATUS CLASS
x xxxxxx bmp XXXXX <pgm name> xxxxxx x, x,
Select the REGID for you particular JOBNAME ( which will be your clock id ) and PROGRAM( which is the program name ).
3.type "/stop region <REGID> abdump" <enter>
Now the job is stopped. |

In our shop we follow the following method
Instead of giving region <REGID> we give jobname <JOBID>. Command will look as follows.
/STOP REGION JOBNAME <jobid> ABDUMP
In this way IMS will identify the region to be stopped using Job Name. |
