Band 30 - Service Support Maintenance (SSM - Mainframes)
Responsibilities :
The position is in SSM team supporting Finance applications. Person will be responsible for production support of multiple mainframe applications Specifically, the role will involve :
Problem Analysis, providing work around / circumvention / permanent fixs to the problems
Delivering effective, practical solutions to complex operational issues in a production environment
Interacting with multiple business partners, operations and technology partners throughout the problem life cycle
Providing consultancy to business partners on production issues related to applications
Maintenance of disaster recovery plans and testing disaster recovery for set of applications
Maintenance of system documentation
Meeting Problem Management/ Change management/ Application Availability goals / targets
Adherence to AET's problem management & change management processes
Collaborate with business partners and vendor partners
Required Qualifications :
Candidate should preferably be bachelor?s degree holder in Engineering or a MCA degree holder
4+ years of experience in Production Management, Support & Development
Strong experience in one or more of the following areas: Candidate should have minimum of four years of programming experience in MVS/IMS, COBOL, JCL, DB2 / IMSDB, CICS, VSAM
Excellent problem solving skills with ability to analyze data, draw inferences, make recommendations and implement solutions
Highly results driven and effective team player
Flexible, self starter with ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong collaboration and relationship building skills with the ability to influence without direct authority
Hands-on experience on end-to-end project life cycles
Exposure/knowledge of Six Sigma, ITIL / CMM
Good understanding of Finance domain will be a plus
