why can't we delete a coloum from a table?

Because IBM says so and nobody can do anything about it. icon_wink.gif

Hi achusarath,


We can delete the rows of a table by using a DELETE statement. If you go on deleting the rows, at one instance there may be a situation that a table contains zero rows. This is possible because A Table can exists without any rows.


But at the same time, There is no meaning of table without any columns, for this reason IBM did not give this option.


Correc me If I am wrong....
