I suppose You are debugging a CICS transaction,
the "CICS messages and codes" manuals will give You a lot of info on it
AEXi is not a very common abend, and need to searched on the manuals,
no reason for us to do Your reading

If you would bother to look it up, you would find the answer.
AEXL - Explanation: DISABLED condition not handled.
AEXL is in a group of commonly occurring abends; The EXEC interface program issues an abend when an exceptional condition has occurred but the command does not have the RESP option (or NOHANDLE option), or the application program has not executed an EXEC CICS HANDLE CONDITION command for that condition.
Either handle the condition your self or continue to let CICS do it for you.
