What will be the size of 1000 directory blocks

HI all,

When primary is 1000, secondary is 100 blocks and directory allocated is 1000 Directory block .

Could any one please tell me what will be the size of Dataset definetly a PDS.

But could any one tell how much blocks it will acquire.

The number of blocks required depends on how many members you want to put into the PDS.

Usual formula is 6 members per block, 45 blocks per track, except for the first track which holds only 44 blocks.
