Greetings.
I need to consistantly transfer a sequential mainframe file to my desktop PC in a batch job mode.
Can someone out there provide me with sample JCL and control cards?
Thanking you in advance. |

Hello,
Also, unless your pc is set up with an FTP daemon, the mainframe will not have an ftp service to connect to (most organizations do not "host" an ftp server on the desktop).
Your tcp/ip desktop software will be able to "pull" the data from the mainframe.
Another option is to have the mainframe e-mail the file to your e-addr (if the file is not too big for e-mail to handle). |
