Hi friends,
I have to test an IMS DC Screen through expediter in debugging mode. Can anyone help me in understanding the procedure that are to be follow there. It would be helpful if you provide some valuable documents related to it.

I never ran an exped program for IMC DC, but I have done that for CICS online program and Batch program. I dont know where to pickup the messages that I receive from IMS DC screen as I was new to the IMS. So please provide with me certain clue. In CICS we will stop the trigger for MQ queue and then we will run the program in debug mode. Whether anything simillar to this is present in IMS DC. |

No, I am using the Xpediter only. I don't know what BTS stands for. |

In the Xped primary menu option 2, enter setup and then select MPP type, and then key in the program and transactions. also make sure you setup all the libraries etc. After that when u press enter, it should allocate all datasets/dbd and then xped will wait (you cannot key in anything) at this state go to IMS online screen and start your transaction. Now go back to TSO Xped session the program will be in debugging mode. After that you can start debugging the program.
You can try and if any problems post it |
