SMF records will tell you who created a file.

Here's the url to the SMF record which shows who catalog'd the dataset
http://publibz.boulder.ibm.com/cgi-bin/bookmgr_OS390/BOOKS/IEA2G251/13.67?DT=20050118142228

Type 65 will tell you who deleted / uncatalog'd a file
Type 66 will tell you who renamed a file

From what I recall these are probably the easiest of the SMF records to decipher.

Good luck ..................................
