Hi all,

How to change the value of a single or a particular row using UPDATE keyword without using WHERE clause.

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

Your request is not at all clear. If you do not use a WHERE, how will you have the "particular row" available to update?

Please post some data, how you want it acted upon, and how you would think to isolate the one row you want to modify.

This questions makes absolutely no sense to me.

The only solution i could think of is:

Keep only that particular row in the table and issue an update statement icon_razz.gif Updates tries to update all the rows. Since you have only that particular row in the table it will get updated icon_smile.gif
