Force termination of Job

Hi All,

I have a job which is running in my test region from past 2 hours. This job is not abending and even I am unable to purge it. Please let me know how can I force terminate this job.

I have tried option like
C - Cancel
P - Purge

i think you job is not getting the cpu time. or you submitter in a class where there is no initiator.

you already issued purge command so it is not cosuming any cpu time.
when it gets cpu then it will be purged.

Hi Raghu,

Thanks for your response...

But this is hoding all the files and not allowing other job to run because of contention.

It is more than 2 hours I issued purge command. But still not getting purged.

Any messages on the system log or job log to give any clues as to what's happening.

Is the job processing or swapped/paged out.

U can call ur ops people & then tell them to cancel this job
