Hi All,
I want to View/Edit/Browse a dataset from the JCL itself by placing the cursor on the dataset.
Actually in my previous project we had assigned DSNEDIT to the PF4 key (while assigning the keys) and it used to edit the datasets while pressing PF4, by putting the cursor on the dataset. Now its not working on my mainframes (new project).
Please could anyone advise on this , what change do I need to do.
The Keylist Help Panel Name . . . ISRSABH (that is what I am using now). |

Try out this:
Assign any KEY say PF2 as DSNBRO
Place the cursor on the Dataset , press PF2. The dataset opens in Browse mode.
If you wish to edit it, on the comand line type EDIT, press ENTER 2 TIMES and the dataset opens in EDIT mode.
Hope this helps. |
