Hi,
My input file contains 6 columns.I need to copy only the 3rd and the 6th column from the input file to the output file using File-aid ISPF panel. Also give me the syntax to accomplish this using File-aid batch.
Eg:
Input File:
C1 C2 C3 C4 C5 C6
Output File:
C3 C6
Thanks

Hello,
Is there some business reason to use file-aid or is this a training exercise? |

Hello,
I understand and agree with automating this type of requirement.
If this were my requirement, i would most likely use my sort product, rather than file-aid. |
