MAIN FRAME SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR:
? At least 5 years experience in system and/or network administration in two or more of the following software or systems:
z/OS, CICS, IDMS, VTAM/NCP, TCP/IP, Automated Operations Software (e.g. Unicenter-NetMaster, Tivoli-Netview), DASD Sub-System (e.g. EMC TimeFinder, SRDF, etc), Automated Robotic Cartridge System (eg. StorageTek HSC & VSM), Tape Management System (e.g. CA1), IBM 37x5 Communication Controller, MQSeries, Websphere.
? Have completed full-cycle implementation or upgraded at least one of the above software.
Please provide details on previous implementation experience.
? Have attended formal classroom training in System Administration courses in at least one
of the above software. Please provide details on training courses attended.
MAINFRAME SYSTEM MANAGER:
? At least 10 years experience in system and network administration in three or more of the following software or systems:
o z/OS, CICS, IDMS, VTAM/NCP, TCP/IP, Automated Operations Software (e.g. Unicenter-NetMaster, Tivoli-Netview), DASD Sub-System (e.g. EMC TimeFinder, SRDF, etc), Automated Robotic Cartridge System (eg. StorageTek HSC & VSM), Tape Management System (e.g. CA1), IBM 37x5 Communication Controller, MQSeries, Websphere.
? At least 4 years experience in managing a team of mainframe system administrators to provide systems maintenance and support services, according to established service levels of system availabilities and performance standards. Shall have experience in the conduct disaster recovery (DR) exercise, preferably with experience in handling a real-time data mirroring configuration.
Please elaborate on your experience, team size, machine size, no. of LPARs maintained, no. of TP regions maintained, user base, 24x7 support, site?s uptime and performance requirements and results achieved, site?s DR RCO (Recovery Time Objectives) and recovery method.
? Have led a team of mainframe systems administrators to complete a full-cycle implementation of mainframe operating system upgrade, including z/OS, CICS (or other TP monitor), and all other mainframe software residing in the mainframe platform. Please provide details on previous implementation experience.
? Have attended formal classroom training in System Administration courses in at least three of the above software. Please provide details on training courses attended.
