| Is it possible to comment a line while giving a input in SYSIN DD *. If it is possible how should I code it? |

Yes - of course, it depends on what program the data is input to. You'd have to read the program specifications to determine it's requirements for comments. There is no general-purpose method.
Typically, if the program requires that the data not start in the first column, then that usually means the first column is reserved for comments. |
