I need to check if a member exists in a particular PDS in a specified volume...

I tried SYSDSN in a rexx code and it did not have the option to specify volume....

Pls help me on this issue....

Have you tried the ISPF Library Management (LM) Services? I noticed that the LMINIT service allows for a VOLSER parameter for a given DSNAME.
