Hello,
There are probably other jobs in your organization that have restart logic. There may even be a standard.
Your job should follow whatever is the accepted procedure for restarts in your organization.
There are many ways to implement recovery/restart and new jobs should follow the established procedures.
Please check with your manager(s) and/or the scheduling/operatoins people for how this is done at your location.
If you do not get answers that you can follow, then answer the questions George asked and provide detailed information. You will have to provide "everything" you want to happen when "anything" goes wrong.
Again, a good answer is most likely available within your organization. |
