Hi,
I have a GDG base created with certain attributes.
I need to create another GDG base with same attributes as before.
How do i get it from the former. |

I think u can make use of LIKE parameter.

Other than LIMIT, which you can determine from IDCAMS LISTCAT, what other attributes are there? |

Hi,
I think this can be done through FILEAID.
By navigating through UTILITIES and DATASET options.(This is how it works in MET mainframe).
Here you can choose option G(Define generation data group) and specify the model DS name and the one which you intend to create like the model DS.
Dunno whether this will help you out!! |
