Job will be run by the system with the help of JCL, If ya want to delete the JOB that is executing go to the SPOOL find u r job and then issue a PURGE command for your executing JOB , usually the PURGE command is P.

In spool on line command you can just give C to cancel a job that is still executing.
Please try it and let me know. |

CANCEL is used to stop the job execution with C command and PURGE to delete the job from spool as mentioned by Thamilzan.
